Phase three of the intake tunnel construction at the Riviera Beach Energy Center required in-water construction, including coring and dive operations. MVI supplied locally available Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)-approved manatee observers to provide 24/7 monitoring, mitigation guidance, and data reporting services. MVI made certain that backup personnel were available on call to ensure scheduling was seamless. Protected Species Observers (PSOs) attended all site-specific safety trainings provided by the client. All data was provided to the client and regulators upon completion of the in-water work.
