Experienced observers approved by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to monitor for manatees and sea turtles during nearshore construction were provided by MVI to support 24/7 clamshell dredging operations. MVI provided a total of eight observers throughout the project and ensured that at least one monitor was available at all times to support continuous monitoring. Dredging operations progressed without delays or incidents involving protected species. Final summary reporting was provided to the client and regulators.
