MVI developed a monitoring methodology tailored to the client’s autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) archaeological survey needs that included protocols for safe deployment of the Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) hydrophone cable without interference with survey operations. Visual and passive acoustic operators provided 24/7 monitoring during offshore operations, and daily summary reports were delivered to the client. A regulatory-compliant final report summarizing observation efforts, detections, and mitigation was provided to the client upon project completion.
