Daylight-only geophysical operations took place aboard a 30 ft survey vessel. MVI provided shoreside lodging and logistics for Protected Species Observers (PSOs) personnel to ensure that one PSO was available each day to monitor aboard the vessel for protected species during 12-hour survey operations. Detailed data on the type of sound sources used, monitoring effort, and detections of protected species were collected and distributed to the client and regulators.
